Broken Link Checker

Find the dead links on any page before Google and your visitors do. Paste a URL and I will check every link and flag the ones that are broken.

Finding links and checking each one. This can take up to a minute.

What this tool checks

I read every link on the page you give me, tidy up the list by removing duplicates and skipping things like email and phone links, then visit each destination to see whether it still works. You get a count of how many links are healthy, how many are broken, and a full table with the status code for every one. Broken links float to the top so you can fix them first.

Why broken links hurt you

A dead link is a dead end. Visitors who hit one lose trust and often leave. Search engines treat lots of broken links as a sign the page is neglected, and any link equity you were passing to a broken destination is simply wasted. Internal broken links are the worst because they trap crawlers and stop good pages being found.

How to act on the results

Fix or remove anything showing an error status. For internal links, point them at the correct page or set up a redirect. For external links that have died, either find the new home of the content or drop the link. If you would rather I audited the whole site and handed you a prioritised fix list, book a call and we will sort it.

This tool reads signals. The audit reads answers.

Free tools show you the surface. The full £495 audit goes further: I query ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews directly for your money questions, show exactly which competitors get cited instead of you, and deliver a prioritised fix plan with a 45-minute walkthrough.
