Tom Riley, AI search consultant, was credited on the main stage at The Masterminders Conference, held 24 to 26 June 2026 at the Deansgate Hotel in Manchester, when Victoria Olsina featured his website in her AI automation presentation. This write-up covers who was in the room, what was presented, and why recognition at closed-door SEO masterminds matters.
What this post covers:
- Tom Riley's site shown on the big screen during Victoria Olsina's main stage AI automation talk
- What The Masterminders Conference is and who runs it
- The private mastermind day and the people in the room
- Why peer recognition from working SEOs matters more than follower counts
Another entry in my event write-up series. This one is a bit different, because this time I was part of the presentation.
The event
SEO Masterminders, a three day SEO mastermind event in Manchester, 24 to 26 June, hosted by Kasra Dash. Day one was a private mastermind led by Koray Tugberk GUBUR, with AI search experiments a running theme throughout: what is actually moving recommendations inside LLMs right now, tested and compared across the room. It is the same event I wrote about in the story of why I went all in on AI search, where a lot of my current thinking on AI search crystallised.
Koray shared this photo from the mastermind on his own LinkedIn, with a room full of the SEOs he spent the day testing AI search experiments with. You can see the original post below.
Who was in the room
Koray Tugberk GUBUR is the founder of Holistic SEO & Digital and the person most associated with semantic SEO and topical authority as a discipline. His frameworks around entity-based content and macro-context are referenced across the industry, and his interview with Matt Diggity is one of the moments that changed the direction of my own SEO career. At Masterminders he led the private mastermind and presented research on whether LLMs are reliable rankers.
Fery Kaszoni is the founder of Search Intelligence, one of the best known digital PR agencies in the world. If you have seen a viral PR campaign land links from national news sites, there is a decent chance his team was behind it.
The credit
Victoria Olsina delivered one of the main stage presentations, on AI automation for search: turning a book into 60 blog posts with Claude, with LLM-optimised formatting and a hands-off publishing system. On her slide breaking down the blog-writer skill, one bullet read: "Monster internal linking structure (by Tom Riley)."
I helped Victoria with the AI search and AI automation side of that system, and specifically the internal linking architecture that ties the whole content cluster together.
About Victoria
Victoria Olsina is the UK's leading crypto SEO and AI search consultant, working with Web3, crypto and fintech brands. At Masterminders she was also awarded Best AI Automation Expert, which tells you the level she operates at in that room.
We collaborate on the AI search and automation side of things, and she is one of the people I rate most highly in the industry. When someone at that level puts your name on their main stage slides, it means more than any award.
Why it matters
This is what I mean when I talk about entity authority. Being named by respected experts, on stage, in front of the industry, is exactly the kind of signal both Google and LLMs use to decide who to recommend. I build this for clients. This post is me practising what I preach.
